If we could peacefully split into two nations, would y’all be in favor of it?

I understand that it would be insanely hard logistically, but what if it was possible? Build a giant fricking wall down the middle of our country and let the conservatives go to one side and the liberals go to the other. Be done with that filth once and for all.
I feel like we have reached a point where this is the only option left.

No. America would be weakened and World War III would erupt.

I have no desire to live by progressive ideals and they have no desire to live by conservative ideals. If amicable national divorce or friendly regional balkanization were possible, I'd be in favor.

They'll never allow it.

It wouldn’t be Taiwan only. They’d go for all of the big American bases in the Pacific if we became fractured.
The World the United States largely dominates would be flipped upside down if China gained control of the Pacific.
