Just found this out after he disparaged the murder of Charlie Kirk. I have two degrees from LSU, BS and MS in Geology. I was in BR for 7.5 years and was an official resident after moving here from Kingwood, TX. Both my parents got their MS in Geology and Geophysics @ LSU. They lived in New Orleans for 9 years after grad school working for Chevron. My little brother got his BS in PE at LSU. It's safe to say we love this state, this school, and more importantly, all the people we were lucky to meet and connect with here at this wonderful University. All walks of life showed love, kindness, grace, and respect. No one cared about the color of your skin. No one judged you on how you looked. Everyone I met and knew and loved only cared about one thing, the kindness in your heart. That's LSU. That's Louisiana. And this university and the people who live by this culture loved me just as much as I love them.

Unfortunate truth is that every part of academia, save for maybe Hillsdale College, has fully been infested with the leftist woke mindset. I wish that were not true, but it is.

Colleges and universities are like a nesting ground for these vermin. And there’s just no getting around it.

True. But most who attended LSU, were given the gift of this culture that's unique to this state. I posted this because I am baffled that someone who went here, who lived here, was unable to take the love this place gives straight to his heart and pass it forward. That's LSU, thats Louisiana. Hell, literally, all walks of life contributed to this unbelievably unique culture.

I knew the guy when I went to LSU. He was nothing like he is now. He was very meek. Was very articulate, but never came across as someone that would end up being the person he is now.

I think he was born in Port Allen and just went one year to LSU. I believe he went to New York after LSU. That's probably where he turned into an all knowing radical.

Damn. That's sad. I guess he never truly appreciated his roots. Maybe it's different when someone finds this place versus someone who was born here that maybe never saw the best in it all.

He didn't graduate. He mostly hung out in Coates. I think he was only here for a semester.

Yes, he’s from Port Allen and went to LSU and he’s a disgrace to humanity.

OP if you want more proof of what a disgrace and racist-for-pay he is, just go look up (if they haven’t nuked them from existence) some of the comments he made on CNN about white people during the BLM bullshite.

Fun fact, he’s been married to a white dude for quite a long time. He’s nothing more than an opportunist, a propagandist, and a liar.

So don’t pay attention to anything he says.

I recall Don Lemon saying once that he grew up in Baton Rouge and said he left because it was very racist. He may have also thrown in homophobic too. This was several years ago.

All correct. We were good friends in Atlanta. He always said he was a conservative. Said he’d hop to FOX in a heartbeat bc they were superior to CNN.

We had some great parties and conversations/debates including at [mostly] non-gay post-show nights with producers and other anchors at his house.

Always fun. I’m not going to bash a friend, but I really don’t know what went horribly wrong. I mean the man had issues but he was still endearing. I even talked to his mom on the phone one night and vice-versa. His sister was a hairdresser in BR and died not terribly long ago.

I used the think his current state was just an act. Now I don’t know. I haven’t called or texted him in a long time.
