Sam Pittman seems like the best value at 9/1

I'm not a betting person, but there looks to be some good value there with Fickell. Alot of these names, though, like Napier, Satterfield, Pittman and Fickell are likely going to be allowed to at least finish out their conference schedule.

Fickell's contract with Wisconsin includes a buyout clause that was approximately $40.2 million as of late 2024, but it will be reduced to roughly $25 million after the 2025 season concludes

The earliest I see them firing him is 10/26, if he can beat Memphis and then State a few weeks later, he will likely make it through the season.

His buyout gets reduced significantly if is career record is below .500, he is currently 4 games above .500

Bet you ask every head coach about NIL and they will tell you it is the worst thing for their job security.

No coach is immune to the short sightedness of 18-20 year old athletes.

Those are some good coaches on that list that will be gone because of it.

That’s why they make $10+ million a year

Interesting information.

Yea they're going to let him sabotage himself (and his buyout)

If the Pokes somehow lose to Tulsa I think he's gone.

I have a hard time believing they let him go during the season after 20+ years there

I'm sure he's going to be next, but it'll be some sort of Coach O situation where he finishes the season. I bet they don't even "fire" him, but instead he announces he's stepping down at the end of the season.

I agree. Unless he really has had enough and is ready to GTFO

So for betting purposes, suppose Oklahoma St and Gundy theoretically have a press conference next Monday and announce that they have mutually agreed to part ways and Gundy will coach the remainder of the season. Does that still count as being fired?

Kind of shocked that he’s third. The buyout is pretty low, but if they make it to 6-6, which is very doable, there’s no chance he’s getting fired.

There was an insider report that surfaced today on Ark that Pittman would not be fired in season because they're too scared of what little talent they have quitting on the team and catering the program for the next coach.

Arkansas admin is most little dick admin in the SEC. Short of losing to Memphis by 30, VA Tech style, I don't see them ever firing him mid season.

Hunter Yuracheck is a giant pussy and will let Pittman "retire with dignity" or some bullshite as he guides them to 3-9/4-8 season.

Gundy's done too much at Okie Light for them to can him in the middle of the season. They'll let him announce he's stepping down and he'll ride off in the sunset.
