Social Emotional Learning

This might get interesting. Bannon and Jacqueline Toboroff (owner of Supermoms Activated) just did a segment on Abby Cox. She has been pushing a program that teaches your children how and what to think about other and takes the parents out of the discussion.

quote:

ALPINE — Utah's first lady has an "incredibly ambitious" goal to fight one of the nation's and Beehive State's biggest issues.

"We decided to help combat the empathy crisis. We must learn to connect through our differences. We live in a world where our children are watching some adults model everything but empathy," Abby Cox said Tuesday as she announced her first initiative during a service project at the Bridle Up Hope ranch in Alpine.

"We live in a world where many of our children have never learned how to resolve conflicts, how to feel comfortable around people who are different from them, or what to do when they encounter big emotions and face mental health challenges," Cox said.

"It is going to take all of us working together."

quote:

The Show Up initiative will focus on four areas: increasing social and emotional learning in schools, supporting foster children and their families, expanding the Special Olympics Unified Sports program, and promoting service “as a way of life for all Utahns” with the help of the governor’s office.

Good lord. Isn’t the Left-supplied amount of this stuff far more than sufficient?

Typical RINO. That's one of our biggest problems, but apparently, we can't sniff it out until it's too late.

I just don’t understand grown adults seeing something new and shiny and automatically saying, he should be president lol.

And again, Bannon was all over this, but called "crazy" and "sloppy" because he pointed it out.

Quite a few problems could be solved by teaching people again to:

1) Ignore certain things
2) Walk away
3) Think before speaking

I believe Linda McMahon is ending it and the left is losing their mind over it.

Yep

That governor is covering for something. There's been several gruesome incidents recently with kids killing their parents and siblings in Utah

I'm not the best or most knowledgeable Christian but there is a guy who excelled at empathy and compassion beyond all others. Maybe read them some of his writings to the kiddos and discuss.

Many people are not deep thinkers when it comes to politics. They will readily vote for someone who sounds and acts "Presidential" over any person who fumbles with words or doesn't look the part. Even if that candidate has better ideas and a better track record of getting things done.

See also suburban white women voters.

The false premise here is that all groups desire to resolve conflicts.
