You talking about a premade old fashioned with alcohol already in it?

I like the Bulleit one, its stout

The On The Rocks one has more simple sugar if you prefer a sweeter one

I have yet to fine a good one. All seem too sweet. Even with a strong alcohol to mix ratio

Someone left this stuff at my house one time and I found it to be pretty good. A little sweet but not terribly when used in moderation. I looks like about $15/bottle.

What do these have in then? Brown sugar syrup and Angostura Bitters can’t cost that much.

I'm a fan of the one from the Cocktail Experiment.

I assume. Checked on one that had been popping up on my facebook feed. Good reviews but who knows if they are real. Went to order and it was $38 plus $17 shipping It was 16 ounces

What’s your reasoning for not just stocking/making what you need to keep at home vs buying a mix?

Are you trying to save a couple seconds per drink?

I’m not calling you out, just trying to understand.

my wife likes old fashioneds this is the syrup I’ve been using. It’s insanely sweet though so just a couple drops does it.

2 oz rye muddled with an orange slice, a luxardo cherry, a couple drops syrup and a couple dashes of peychauds

This one has been my go to. 1/4 to 1/2 ounce of this, 3 dashes of angostura and 2 dashes of peychaux bitters. 2.5 ounces of whiskey.

Sure you can. It’s a simple question.

Are you trying to shave off about 10 seconds when you make the drink?

Multiple companies sell these mixtures. Which means people buy them. The guy just wants a rec on a good one. Why are you even in the thread if you have nothing to offer?
