Did Everyone From The Score Board Calm Down?

Someone seriously wanted to bench Nuss and “see what Van Buren has”.
3-0 for the first time in 6 years 1/4 of the way through the season allowing less than 10 pts per game. NegaTigers can all Eat A Dick!!!

After Nuss threw that pick, I posted wondering about Van Buren. My thought was that as far as I remember, he's a running QB, and we kinda needed to run some clock. I was thinking give him a series with Nuss regrouping and talking to Kelly and the offensive coaches. Defense was holding but the offense had just imploded (fumble, then interception). I figure 1 series to calm down and look from a different angle wouldn't hurt.
Absolutely wasn't thinking to replace him permanently.

I think everyone is happy to be 3-0, grateful that Braelin Moore was able to play, impressed with the defense, and pessimistically hopeful that we won’t be bleeding-eyeballs terrible at half of the game of football, like we were in 2023.

Nuss knows he won’t be replaced. Aside of not catching flak for losing, his only motivation should be improvement and getting the W.

I think its fair to say many people that are critical of our offensive ineptitude still are enjoying the season, believe we have a chance for a special season, and don't want Kelly fired.

I think after the JD situation and seeing just how bad of a player Nuss is, I've personally cooled it on “backup QB is always better.” I wanted JD benched his first year for Nuss, and here we are several years later and Nuss still wouldn’t beat out first year JD with both arms tied behind his back.
I truly believe that as terrible as Nuss is, Van Buren must be even worse.

We have some people who want Johnson in a red zone package, to me that's far more disruptive of the offense.
I was talking about giving Van Buren a series so Nuss could calm down and get his mind right, and look at the defense from a different point of view. And then primarily running. Maybe a qb run.
And then Nuss coming back for the next series
