For those who haven't stayed up to watch late night football this season, Sagapolutele looks like an absolute star in the making. He's worth staying up to watch the rest of the season, just for the beauty of some of his throws.

Here are some highlights:

Against Oregon State

Against Minnesota

If Cal can't keep him, he might be the most coveted transfer in the portal next year.

Cal’s schedule is so bad, they could legitimately get to 9-0

They got an impossibly easy draw in the ACC

Man. I want to put some money on him for the Heisman like I did with Burrow after the Texas game.

He graduated high school in December, and is already at his second college.

He will eventually hit the portal again. It’s just a matter of when, and how much NIL money will he receive from another school.

While true he was committed to cal for a long time then transferred and came back to his original choice. So yes second school but maybe first love

This is what I hate about the new era of college football. Before, a guy like this could potentially change the course of a program over the next 3-4 years. But now, everyone already knows it's only a matter of time before he transfers to a Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, UGA, etc.

JKS was a Cal guy all the way until, rumor has it, Mendoza called him the night before signing date to tell him that he had no chance of replacing him. So he flipped to Oregon and when Mendoza left for Indiana a few days later he promptly came back to Cal, which is building a war chest to keep him.

They are going to need to find $4-5M per year. I’m not sure Cal is spending that total on NIL. Not that they don’t have plenty of rich alums if one of them decides they actually want to win football games

Thought the same thing when I watched the Cal game this weekend. Looks like Tua when he throws darts... dude can spin it.
