I applaud how he has handled these past few days but yes, his overall body of work has been that of the squishy, don’t rock the boat, don’t offend anyone, Bush-McCain-Romney strain of GOP.

Isn't that typical for most of Utah/Mormons in general.
Yes they are extremely religious but it isn't in the evangelical way that a lot of the main MAGA base is. They are very insulated (you have to be a member of the LDS church in good standing to even enter some of their churches.
Their lifestyles are driven by LDS teaching (no caffeine, no alcohol or very low abc, etc.) I would be willing to bet that they don't condone LGBT ideology but at the same time because of their history of persecution are very much a live and let live people.
How else do you elect Mitt Romney and Orin Hatch to the Senate?

Utah is the bluest red state in the country. So I’m not surprised that he’s a RINO. But he could’ve won an Oscar for pretending he was deeply saddened by the murder of Charlie Kirk based his performance last week.
