Against the law now?
Not cool anymore?
Hard headed coaches that won't run it?

For some reason, college coaches act like putting a TE at FB is like teaching diff EQ to players.

I just posed same thing in different thread. I formation on running downs. Smaller LB's would struggle. Not many 240 lb middle backers anymore. Hell DE are that size now.

They finally ran it on the last drive last night and popped a 50 yarder, hopefully we see it more moving forward

Me and few buddies have been talking about this since last season. Why they don't any I-formation packages in the use is maddening. There are so many positives.

I think the I formation is something most QBs have no clue about anymore. Football has been watered down by a lack of going under center.

When I saw the formation, I got excited and then it turned into a huge gain. I hope to see it again in the future and not just once a game.

Why not run that play or any other play with a lead blocker on short yardage key plays.
All the head coach has to do is say run it

Well, they also have to practice it, not sure thats been a priority since kelly’s been here. Which is an indictment on him for sure.

Just since last season? We've been seeing this for years. If we learned I-formation, we beat FSU in Nola.

Pyburn as lead blocker on short yardage plays or just hand the dang ball off to him.

Sloan is over his head. There has been no progress since the first game. I don’t think he is capable of fixing this.

We did a few times on goal line against Clemson leading up to the Durham TD. Hoped we would see more after that for short yardage.
