It’s baffling to me how truly deep our LB room is. Some stats from last night after Keys took over.

Davhon Keys, in replacement for a disqualified Whit Weeks:

78 snaps
14 tackles
2 stops
1 pressure
1 hurry
1 tackle for loss
0.5 sacks
117.7 NFL Grade (highest on the team)

Next man up.

It’s such a breath of fresh air to have an elite LB room again and a stud Coach like Blake.

We need to do everything in our power to keep him.

I really hope so. Blake Baker has IT as a coach!

No doubt, keys played really well last year to end the season. Weeks went out there and earned the starting spot from him. Great to see depth in the LB room

No surprise. He played well last year as well when perk was out. But yes, we are deep. Just need the offense to keep up.

I hate that move, but this is one instance where it makes sense.

He made plays every time he got reps last year.

I wasn’t worried when he had to come in

Keys is really good.
He played so well by the end of last year, many thought he’d be starting this season.

Keys is a stud in the making! I was highly impressed with him as a freshman, and thought he would be starting before West Weeks. West has played well to this point but I just think keys brings more athleticism
To this spot, better pass rusher and better in coverage. But West has played better than I thought to this point.

He has average size and speed, but he has great LB instincts which you can’t really teach.

I think we need to do whatever it takes to keep Baker. Whether that means add assistant HC to his title and let him know that he’s the HC in waiting.

This is exactly the type of young firey guy I’d love running our program.

You also know he wouldn’t medal in the offense and go out and get the best damn OC possible.

Baker is about to get a bag thrown at him by the end of the season. The only way he is a HC at LSU in the near future is if Kelly wins a Natty and retires.

Excellent rebuttal. We lost 2 starters and barely saw any drop off. You must have been watching a different game.
