That was embarrassing.

Going off on the reporter for completely legitimate questions about the offense?

This dude wants a pat on the back for literally everything.

Not how it works here, BK.

I'm pretty much done with the BK experiment.

Would love for them to dig up some cause at this point.

He’s an arse clown of epic proportions and Joe Sloan needs to be fired by a cannon into the fricking sun. Nuss as well

That was a clarifying moment. He’s always come across as a pompous arse but I figured he knew what he was doing. That’s the first time I realized that he actually doesn’t know what it’s going to take to win big. He thinks playoffs are the goal. He isn’t thinking title.

Agreed.
The "we won, didn't we?" mindset is not what I expect from someone at that level.

Who was that first reporter? SHOUT OUT to that guy for not backing off and digging deeper after BKs temper tantrum.

And then every question after that was a softball from every sissy in there.

“You’re entitled.”

This guy is making $10M a year and pushing out that the standard is “good enough to win”. Maybe that works for some people but I would think for that money the standard would be “be the absolute best”.

Maybe I’m wrong. Just really rubbed me the wrong way how he answered that.

Well it’s a key win vs Florida but he knew damn well he’s going to be asked about the poor offensive performance. All he has to do is say it’s a concern and we’ll have to get it fixed. You don’t say we suck on purpose and you should lick my arse instead of doing your job. The medias job isn’t to cheerlead contrary to what some people think. Then he goes into the dramatics “that’s a great question” nonsense which may have been worse that getting mad at the first guy. Then he gets snappy as the end with a totally benign question from a very old and seasoned reporter.

Is he my favorite person though. I don't understand why people are been out of shape over the dude. I don't care if he's an a-hole as long as he wins. Do I think the question was legitimate? Yes. Am I Ben out of shape over his response? Not really. I don't give a damn if he's an a-hole or not as long as he wins and right now he's winning. If they make the playoffs and potentially win a game or when the national championships, are you gonna be on the BT train and you know it.

I agree. I’ve kind of lost faith in him ever winning us a championship if that is his reaction to a valid question.

I hope they figure it out

It was a foolish display of temper, but it doesn’t clarify any of your conclusions.

So you want to wreck a season that we have a legitimate chance to go deep in the playoffs? Cool

Kinda makes you wonder if any of our fans have ever heard any other coaches go off on a reporter. I believe Kelly knows the O has to get better, but I also think they are coaching the team and playing the game to win with how they are playing. I actually think he realizes that he should have made some change in the offensive staff. Saw his reaction a few times last night after some plays, didn’t look real happy. I would love to see us putting up 50 and winning by 30, but in the end I don’t care if we win by 3 every game as long as we win. I’ll just take more medication!

Sylvester needs to go BEFORE Sloan, but both are WAY IN OVER THEIR HEADS!

Just waiting to see now how long Davis is going to last into the season. (Don't think Sloan will be fired until the season is over)

DEFENSE will have to save the season, but at some point the Offense will have to score some points. (Especially to win those SEC games on the road)..............

Coach thinks Clemson, LA tech and Florida are 1,2 and 3 in the country on the defensive side of the ball. God help us when we eventually play a team with an offense. But at least we’re 3-0.

You guys are embarrassing. He's (by far) the winningest coach in CFB, and you question his passion for LSU? I love his passion and he is paid to win, just win baby!

I agree that our offense is quite meh, but let's just wait and see what happens game-to-game. Nuss is not great, but he can be pretty good, and I'm waiting (impatiently) to see that.

Great defense wins games, and offense can lose games. We'll see if our offense can frick up and begin to lose games like last year; hopefully not.

That PC was worse than I could imagine. The condescending attitude through out made him look like a huge arse. He basically said at the end you can’t have both a great offense and defense at the same time.

He sounds like a complete jerk and I am being kind.
