It's time to get rid of kickers in football

I can't stand the fact that kickers are still a thing in football.
Tennessee's football team, the actual players, battle all fricking game and put their lives on the line only for it to be ruined by a kicker who can't do the ONE job he has. A kicker who doesn't have to actually go out there and battle and risk injury.
Tennessee's loss is 100% on the kicker and the kicker alone. He had ONE job and couldn't do it. His arse should be thrown off the team.
Tennessee boosters and alumns are donating massive sums of money to the football team for NIL and player salaries and expect a return on their investment, and whether or not they get a return on said investment is all left up to a fricking kicker? Really? A kicker who probably isn't even getting any NIL money? If the kicker is getting NIL money it should be donated back to the NIL donors so they can get at least some of their hard earned money back.

Ill agree. Hate seeing good defensive stands near midfield then kicker gets them points anyway

Heupel completely mismanaged the calls following UGA’s 4th Q fumble. 3 runs? No pass to the end zone?

The miss in regulation didn't lose them the game, and he sacked up in OT and drilled the go-ahead FG. The defense let them down.

Until teams start playing as if they don’t have kickers, I can’t get mad at the kicker.
Tennessee could have easily pretended they didn’t have a kicker.

I agree the game would be more exciting if you got rid of all field goals. Teams would have to score tds and convert 2 pt conversions
