That dude predicted everything that would happen with the Disney Florida legal fight years before it happened. If he talks about it, you can take it to the bank.

If you have proof of credible hostility/danger in your workplace, file a complaint with OSHA.

You can do so anonymously if necessary, and unlike internal complaints, HR can’t just sweep it under the rug.

Here is OHSA’s webpage on workplace violence. LINK-OSHA

This is not what OSHA is for or does.

I have received OSHA-based training for over 15 years.

I believe it’s more of notifying OSHA so that it forces HR/companies to act and not sweep it under the rug. The whole general duty clause “hey my worksite is not providing a safe work environment”.

See that’s what I’m saying. That’s literally not what they are for. Downvote me all you want but OSHA is for when your employer tells you to perform unsafe acts at work like going into a confined space. The POLICE are for when you feel threatened by a coworker.

OSHA does get involved when an employer fails to address a recognized safety hazard (like a known violent employee or pattern of threats). If you file a complaint in the right way, I think it would FORCE the company to investigate and act. Plus, they would have to document it. If you just go to HR, you could be dealing with a political activist (left or right) who could legally ignore you if they didn't agree with you. With OSHA, they can't tell you to get lost.

EDIT: Out of curiousity, I asked AI and it added this little nugget:

If a coworker’s behavior rises to the level of a recognized hazard (credible threats, intimidation, celebration of violence, etc.), OSHA gets involved.

The left has used all agencies to advance their cause for years. Its our turn.

I agree but they also require your employer to provide a safe work environment. This includes workplace violence which includes emotional stress. Chapter 10 of the OSHA SHMS Manual covers workplace violence. Again I don’t think it’s the traditional process where OSHA comes out and fines the company or anything. I’m sure it’s more of a general conference where they ensure the appropriate signage is posted concerning workplace violence and etc. The main thing as stated earlier is that there’s no way for HR to hide it at that point. A recorded complaint has been filed with a 3rd party. Any company will want to distance themselves from that quickly.
