Arizona St likely on the move again
Week 0 game before Clemson next year is possible, wonder if it's home game or maybe Ireland
LA Tech might return in 2026

Only teams that play a game at Hawaii or out of country can play week 0. I'd imagine some small west coast team will make the trip to BR if that's the route LSU wants to go.

Hell no, that trip to Ireland is tough to recover from & for the 17th time, they already have opponents scheduled in Ireland for the next 2 years

I’d like to know if Houston got the boot in 2027 bc of the Haulcy situation.

About fricking time Verge. It took a 9 game SEC schedule to make changes. At least LSU didn’t get fricked again on the return game after volunteering to travel for the first of a home and home. Play that week zero game before Clemson and call it a day.

I did not connect that. But you know someone on that UH staff tipped Clemson.

Learn from the NFL. International games should only be scheduled before bye weeks.

Offer New Mexico State $2M to come play us on 8/29

Home game cause TCU & North Carolina are playing in Ireland 2026
For week 0 game will probably be against New Mexico State at home during week 0 because they play at Hawaii in 2026
2027 would be Northwestern state as they are playing @ Hawaii

Interesting they don’t include at Utah for 2031

Moscona acting like Houston in 2027 is still on
It was definitely removed in some places.

UTSA is on the 2027 schedule with Houston, while an in-state school–possibly ULM–will be added.

And a waste of time.
If you want to go visit Ireland, go visit Ireland. It's "open" year round. They don't close Ireland.
Play the games on campus or, at minimum, in the US

you can be the week 0 opponent of a team that plays at Hawai’i or out of country without your self playing one of those games.

To explain the week 0 situation in how it could work;
-Teams that play at Hawaii get to schedule an extra home game to recoup the costs of traveling to Hawaii.
-For us (obviously we don't play at Hawaii), we could schedule one of those teams to come to us in week 0. It would be the extra game for them, but not for us.
For example; the 2026 season is scheduled to be 12 games plus 1 bye week. If, lets say, New Mexico State (who does travel to Hawaii) wanted to come play us week 0 they could do that. We would essentially make it a 12 games plus 2 bye week season and New Mexico State would get 13 games plus 1 bye week with that extra game being a home game some time in the middle of the season.

They have to play a P4 opponent in 2027. If it’s not Houston, it has to be someone else and it’s getting very late in the game to schedule someone else.

Thank you!!
Play college football where it is meant to be played. I never understood the desire to want to go see a college football game in another country. If I am going to take the time and spend the money to travel to Ireland I want to enjoy everything Ireland has to offer, not do something I've done a hundred times an hour down the road from my house.

100% correct also northwestern state is playing at Hawaii in 2027. So lsu could schedule northwestern state as a 2027 FCS opponent.
