RIP Polly Holliday (Flo from Alice) at age 88

The news came out early today, but I searched and didn't see a post about it here. She was the last surviving original cast member from Alice.

Born in Jasper,Al. as well as George Lindsay (Goober Pyle), she grew up in Childrsburg and Sylacauga AL like Jim Neighbors (Gomer Pyle)

We had some damn fine actors in 70s sitcoms.

I thought she was at least 60 in that show. That means she lived until 105?

The original Flo was played by Diane Ladd, mother of Laura Dern, in the movie Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore.

Polly was Flo in the series

It was a Golden Age - all the Lear shows had top notch talent, then Taxi, Barney Miller, WKRP, etc. RIP Flo
