How is it a common occurrence to shoot, kill, stab whatever people just because they do not agree politically with you? Is there even a way back from this?

I am a pretty calm and reserve person who values peace, but right now I believe that we can’t live among these mentally unstable, violent loons and pretty soon something will have to be done about it. Almost all of the political violence is coming from the left, and when that pendulum swings the other way around, it won’t be pretty.
