Yep.........

if a black guy with dreads and a hoodie gets near you, especially from behind, you have to be on edge/have your guard up

-on the street, cross the street
-in certain places, turn around and go another way
-at a gas pump, keep them in eye sight and be ready to jump in your car at a moments notice
-on public transit, move seats/create space

this isn’t a race thing, same rules apply for a white dude with face tattoos and baggy clothes or anyone who looks “off”

it’s not unreasonable or racist to keep yourself safe and aware of your surroundings

Poor girl. Our big cities must be approached like how you'd approach living in Ukraine. If you see Russians in Russian military uniforms... then you would know to be extremely aware. In our big cities... if you see a black guy in a hoodie, a facemask, or their pants hanging down below their arse.. or all three, you know to be aware.

That girl wasn't here long enough to be knowledgeable about big city hazards.
