Shut up. These wristbands were the best thing LSU has done to improve gameday atmosphere in decades when they did this for Ole Miss last year. The stadium will be on a completely different level on Saturday with these, as long as LSU is competitive.

Brian Kelly really has completely taken a dump on LSU's traditional uniforms. It's a travesty that we wear our gold helmets, white jerseys, and gold pants about twice at home all season long.

Just want to make sure I got this straight. The previous poster says we're going to wear gold/white/gold. You quote him and then complain about us not wearing gold/white/gold enough.
The weather has turned cool. It's the SEC opener, at night, in TS, and we will be wearing our traditional unis. So it felt like it was a perfect time to complain about the fact that we might not wear traditional unis some other time this year. Got it.
I probably bellyache as much as anybody. But sometimes the Stars line up. Allow yourself to enjoy this one and then come back to complain the first time you see unis you don't like. In fact you won't even have to start a thread cuz they'll already be five other threads complaining about it. Just my O2

They were pretty cool last year.
Quit throwing them on the fricking field. Or just don’t give them to the students.
ETA: Also—just wear a damn gold shirt it’s not hard to leave the 2006 Columbia PFG purple shirt at home for one game.

Was it the Arkansas game last year?? In any case when they announced that LSU may get penalized if they continue to be thrown on the field, the other team fans started chunking them.

They were pretty cool.. would be nice if they did not get thrown onto the field.. the good thing is when they do it is pretty much isolated to one corner so easier to pick up.. but they could result in a penalty..
On a sorta related topic I felt the light show ( ribbons.. flashing…)… and color scheme ( did not turn the stadium red with coke cola ribbons)…were greatly improved .. I believe we had a few extra fire work events thrown in.. congratulations to whoever did the lights.. I thought they were greatly improved.
