The wife and I decided to stop by after the Saints game yesterday. We’ve had Forbidden before and loved it. St. Pizza was equally as terrific, if not, slightly better from my perspective. I had a slice of the Bianca and a slice of pepperoni with hot honey drizzle. Absolutely delicious.

Its great. I think Forbidden is great too.

I think Forbidden's crust might be slightly better, but I found them not to use enough salt.

The tomato pie at St. Pizza is my favorite pizza in the city currently.

St. is great, but can we cut the cost slightly? Sticker shock on repeat everytime I leave...

They are outrageously expensive, but now the price of everything else is starting to catch up with them, I guess

Nola Mia doing just as good pizza for almost half the price.

St Pizza having to cover those PR costs

Keep it that way.....

Allegedly the old Pizza D makers went that direction. Certainly in the Top 5 discussion.

The yellow gelato place on St Claude?

Never would have thought to enter that place in my life.

Yep. Make some really good other dishes besides pizza as well. Never had the Gelato but it looks good.

Have you been to Arabella at least? Same stretch and look.

Yes I’ve been to Arabella a few times but it’s been a decade.

Yeah I can agree on the pricing, but I'm willing to pay a premium every now and then. We had a kid free outing so it evened out in the wash

We each had two slices and it was around $30.

I spent 60 bucks at fricking Tommy’s in Hammond the other night for one large pie and a salad and it wasn’t a 10th as good as St Pizza. Those guys could double their prices and it would still be my first choice

Grab a pie and wash it down with some good wine at Patron Saint that is reasonably priced

Yes, Patron is actually very reasonably priced (their 15 dollar corkage fee is nuts though), which makes the pizza prices funny

I still pay it on occasion though

St Pizza is now the best in the city imo

i would still put Pizza D 2 and Forbidden 3, but it’s close.

Nola Mia also a good shout

Zee’s a little overrated but certainly not bad at all

I still have not been to Il Supremo because I find their ordering process and hours indecipherable
