If USF beats Miami next they have a very strong chance at 12-0

Their schedule gets way easier after next week, it's early in the season of course but aside from a couple road trap games there isn't much here

South Carolina State
Charlotte
@ North Texas
Florida Atlantic
@ Memphis
UTSA
@ Navy
@ USB
Rice

They aren’t beating Miami but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the g5 playoff team

They were just better than Boise but Florida clearly overlooked them.

They’re good and will probably go 11-1 or 10-2, but they aren’t sneaking up on Miami now.

They ain’t beating Tulane in the championship game: Tulane has absolutely owned those guys the last five or six years.

Honestly I don’t see who they could lose to besides Miami.

Memphis? Florida atlantic? Navy? Utsa? I don’t think so, Utsa is garbage. Not sure those teams are any better either.

Definitely a great chance for them to go 11 - 1 and be the G5 representative in the CFP. But they aren't beating Miami.

The big thing for them is having the head to head over Boise, who is probably going to win the Mountain West. James Madison lost, so I don't really see the Sun Belt getting the nod. The MAC and Conference USA are both jokes at this point so no concerns for them there.

The only other team I could see ironically would be Tulane. But an 11 - 1 USF team that only loses to Miami is going to get in over an 11 - 1 Tulane team that only loses to Ole Miss. Tulane would have to go undefeated, and they aren't beating Ole Miss.

They were +18.5 at Florida & they’re +16 at Miami

If they both are 11-1 - they will play each other in the American championship game. As I said earlier, Tulane has owned them the last several years. Like by an avg of 35 points a game.

They may stay close to Miami for a half but Miami is way way better than Boise or FLA.

Didn't USF play Rutgers on a Thursday night that year and both teams were ranked in the top 10?

I believe so. Craziest season I’ve ever seen in my 60 years of watching.

They'll beat Miami then pull a 1984 South Carolina/2016 Houston and lose at Navy.

Even if they lose to Miami they are likely going to the CFP.

Boise, @Florida, and @Miami is a tough stretch to start the season
