The new Turbo S press embargo ended today. 701 hp, 0-60 2.4 with sport chrono. 7:04 Nordschleife lap. Electric turbos. Potentially the best daily driver supercar ever built.

Couldn't they make an informative video without all the cringe?

The supercar moniker has always been "awarded" on performance not production, AFAIK and pretty much every car rag has called the 911 Turbo variants a supercar back to at least the 993 era. There aren't 50k 911s made per year and only around 1000 Turbo S variants make it to the US each year, some years significantly less. It isn't a Camry but it isn't an F80 or P1 either but the latter are hypercars.

Configurator is online. $270,300 is the base in the US. Most builds will likely be in the $300k range, give or take.

I’m sure it is a great car. But how can you really enjoy a car like that in the U.S????

No, just PDK. The 911s available with a manual are the T and GT3/GT3 Touring

How hard is it going to be to get an allocation for one? It’s about time for something new and this might be a solid fit.

Hwy 77 in louisiana is an absolutely excellent race track.

146 curves in 49 miles. All are banked beyond the standard dotd requirement for some reason. There are quite a few past 120 degrees.

There's a reason motorcycle riders run it.
