We have enough sample size on Rattler now. He is what he is.

He’s not lost. He can get the team in and out of the huddle. He seems to understand things and is baseline competent.

But he’s nothing beyond that. He cannot get the ball moving down the field. He cannot complete dynamic plays/passes. They just don’t do anything special with him in the game.

We won’t win with him.

Now it’s just about deciding when Shough is ready. Game 5.

Is…this a joke?

We don’t know. We picked him 40th. So we will see.

He is certainly more talented than Rattler.

He picked up all the worst habits that Carr had to teach

The problem with Rattler going forward will be that every pass reception has the receiver’s back facing the end zone. Zero YAC, zero guys catching balls in stride heading upfield.

The knock on him was that he doesn’t anticipate throws or throw guys open. Still seems to be the case with him.

He’s had times when he had time. He still didn’t do much.

He’s just not a starter. Never will be.

That’s the fricking point! The more Rattler keeps proving that he’s NOT the guy……the less we will know about Shough.

Eventually Moore needs to take a leap.

Right. These penalties putting the offense in long down & distances is the story today. This offense is not talented enough to constantly play behind the sticks.

Lol @ people thinking a rookie QB with no experience would be an upgrade against the Cards complex defensive scheme. Shough would have multiple turnovers had he played today & the score would be even more lopsided than it is now.

Time for what? Has he missed open receivers? Odd to scapegoat Rattler given the penalties and the receivers inability to do anything.s

No one is scapegoating anything.

He’s now started 7 games.

What kind of sample size do you need for him? What kind of perfect scenario do we need to evaluate him?
