Early in his career he had some bad plays, and inexcusable fumbles. There was also a time when he was considered a malcontent, and that stuck with him even though we later learned it was Carr’s fault for Olave’s responses. But the label stuck

I tried to tell you guys that we needed to trade him 2-3 years ago. It was an obvious wasted pick from the jump. He fumbled/dropped us into 4 losses his rookie year, yet everyone in the fanbase ignored that and acted like he was good

Yes, he's a fine number 2 WR if he was more durable. The issue is, he's a little bit low character football wise, he's got a bottom 3% combine frame in history, and the trade package we gave up for him made it necessary for Olave to be a top 5 WR in the league, for it to be worth it. He runs nice routes. I'll give him that.

He’s unlikeable because we drafted him in the first round and fans expect him to be elite. Truth is he’s a good player but it was a bad pick. The blame should be on Mickey not Olave
