Hard to get a rhythm goin when every other play new pieces are rotating in. You simply have to find your top 3 playmakers and roll with it. Brown and Aaron Anderson are clearly your top 2 guys. Find who you trust the most as your wr3 and roll with it. Berry and Durham are clearly your top 2 backs I like Johnson but he’s flat out taking too many touches away from berry and Durham. Same with Kaleb Jackson

Everyone knows this but it's week 2. Kelly is going to take a few weeks to find out who his best are. He's never had his team figured out in week 1 and most coaches don't. It's fine to rotate guys the first few weeks until others separate themselves

There are.

I think you’re kinda right. I do think we need at least 3 men running the ball. But I also think running between the tackles in 12 personnel isn’t gonna be that successful with this OL. I wish we’d go 4 wide and spread the d out. Thin the box out. Even if one wide is a TE.

I agree with your overall sentiment but Johnson had 1 carry last night.

In two games

JuJuan Johnson - 4 carries, 9 yards. 5 receptions, 31 yards

Kaleb Jackson - 4 carries, 0 yards. 0 Receptions.

So 4 caries per game between Jackson and Johnson. 2.5 receptions per game as well.

The only ones I can tell for sure need to be in there are AA, Brown and Thomas. After that, I don't know. Hilton has been invisible which is surprising. Anderson caught the TD last night and obviously has great potential based on his production at OU. Sharp at TE had a lot of production at OU too, but I think maybe had 1 catch last night.

We need a WR to step up and be that intermediate/deep threat.

Barion would have shown that deep threat promise last night had Nuss been accurate. He was wide open on 2 deep passes I remember that he over/underthrew including the interception.

Your top 4 need to be Zavion/AA/Barion/Nic. You have size in that group with Nic, a deep threat in Barion, a gadget in Zavion, and your most trusted receiver in AA.

I agree. Hilton looked like he was gonna be a huge weapon with how he did in those last few games last year. Hopefully he will emerge too because he was a difference maker at the end of last season.

This is the game you do that, though. Week 1 doesn’t allow for it anymore.

I disagree. I believe they should get smarter. Take Johnson and make him a wildcat QB for certain packages. Build a set of plays around him. A mini-RPO. Hell, we keep stalling in the redzone. Trigger them to come in, first down inside the 30.

Maybe don't do that for Florida, but by Southeastern and USCe it could be done. I'm not talking an entire offense. I'm talking about 8 to 12 plays (with some being dedicated QB runs, others RPOs, it would look like 12 to 16 plays).

I mean, something has to be done. Moore was hurt on the first play of the game. Even with Nuss' happy feet, a drop off in OL play, dropped balls and a struggle to run at times (really outside of a couple of big runs, running was poor again), we were 100% in the redzone. Just 3 FGs (2 of which were 1st and goals) is what hurts there. If LSU had scored just 1 more TD (inside or outside the redzone), everyone would feel better about the game, IMHO.
