LSU -9.5, was -6.5 less than 24 hours ago.

The people in the desert (who are smarter than you and me) are still very high on our Tigers and down on UF.

Despite what happened Saturday and all the sky screamers, we’re poised to open SEC play w an important win.

Onto week 3, let’s go 1-0.

Florida couldn’t find the end zone until the 4th quarter. Their offense is terrible. I’m glad we have a defense. We may hold them to single digits.

The silver lining is they’ll hopefully focus on practice this week and get their shite together. Losing to UF would be inexcusable

How’d they do on last night’s line?

It’s wild how many people are high on last nights performance. We couldn’t push around La Tech….

That’s called an anecdote. Do you know what that is?

That wasn’t medicine, it was abysmal. The only thing from an F grade is that it was a win. That’s the “worst win” I’ve seen in years. Last night’s team is 7-5

ND lost to Nothern Illinois then went on to play for a natty. If we play like we did last night it will be a long year. But I doubt that happens. It’s never as good as it seems and never as bad. Go whip Florida and get back on track.

No, what’s wild is we wait months for football season to get here and at the first sign of any adversity people cannot wait to give up on the team.

It’s one thing to be concerned, it’s another to lose your mind over being 2-0.

Eh that’s feels like an overreaction given the context.

Week 2
The opponent
Coming off monster win
Loking ahead to UF

Nobody is excited to see us coming out so flat but the people suggesting it’s cause for major alarm (outside of the injuries) is a straight up sky screaming.

ND didn’t play a team with a pulse after Texas A&M week 1

I'm old enough to have seen us, with Tommy Hodson at QB lose to Miami of Ohio on a wet Tiger Stadium field where we couldn't do ANYTHING right. Tech wanted this game. I'll take 23-7 be 2-0 and now let's get ready for a pissed off Florida team.

It was a humbling performance which can be really useful for coaching this early in the season.

Nobody has any delusions about what needs to be cleaned up.

Didn't Florida have three tds called back on penalties yesterday? I don't think it was as bad as people are making it out to be

With our issue at center because of Moore's injury, LSU may not score much either.

Davis needs an arse-chewing for not having a respectable Plan B in case Moore got hurt, yet here we are.

Based on last night alone, it appears Chester hasn't gotten any better at center.

I imagine most logical fans (yes, I realize that excludes many here) aren’t taking the stance that all is lost. But to ignore some of the troubling things we saw on the offensive side of the ball last night would be foolish, especially given the parallels to last year. I hope it’s a blip, but I’m not going to bury my head in the sand and whistle past the graveyard.

In 2019 it was better than it seemed and in 2021 it was worse than it seemed but if you read the rant during the 2019 season week after week of threads saying our defense wasn’t championship quality. It was game 2 without our starting center in a cliche letdown game. It sucked. But I expect a ready to go football team at home next week with Florida rolling into town.
