Two things that make me irrationally angry about the Green injury

1. At that point in the game, the starters should be done but LSU’s offense sucked so bad that wasn't an option.

2. The guy who falls on his leg? DJ Chester, who of course is getting his jock handed to him by a directional school defensive line men.

The Moore injury leads to the Green injury.

I think Moore will be fine. Green is probably out

I asked earlier this summer why we didn’t get two Centers even though other positions needed help too. Centers are critical to OL performance imo

Moore will just be an issue of pain tolerance and ankle mobility.

Glass half full, watching the replay, there's a chance Green’s injury is a hyperextension. Based on his time in the injury tent and postgame reaction that is probably wishful thinking.

Hopefully Green doesn't have ACL damage. The way his right knee received that force, best case scenario is MCL which could have him back in a few weeks.

You can’t afford to pay a starting quality center to ride the bench, also most starters will not waste a year or eligibility. In this era with the NIL model, all teams are like the NFL, the depth isn’t that great.

I agree. It was wishful thinking to get two centers capable of starting immediately, but just wanted a spare that would be a step ahead of last year’s starter.

Vs having a playing time to get film on players are still developing (like green, who just started playing football).
If game 4+ they still not running efficiently people would be complaining why are they not better prepared or developed???
Always 2 sides to consider in every decision but of course easier to complain

Saban said you never play to not get hurt. He said that when Mauck went down during the Florida game in 03 and was lost for the season.

So the football god himself said you don't pull your starters hoping to avoid injury.

I'll sit back and watch the fireworks....

Like it or not it's a high ankle sprain. It was reported this morning.
The severity dictates tome missed. A HAS is no joke and he could be out a cpl weeks to 4ish weeks

Green is waiting on an MRI

Its stupid to use Green on LOS blocking assignments!
