There's no real debate about the top four.

Brees
Manning
Hebert
Brooks

The fifth spot is up for debate.

Funny to think a quarterback who took another team to a Super Bowl... and from Louisiana... was sitting behind him the entire time too

As sad as it is, Carr might be 5. Gross

If Jeff Blake didn't get hurt, he probably would've been up there...

Sadly, Carr is not that far off

Carr has the 6th most wins in Saints history, 8th in yards, 4th in winning percentage for QBs with at least 16 starts (equivalent of 1 full season), 2nd in passer rating, 2nd in completion percentage amongst QBs with at least 16 starts

I'd plug Everett in at the 5th spot myself, but I can see the argument for Carr anywhere from 5-7. The reality is, it's a really sad history of QB play for the Saints.

I don’t disagree but Everett and Archie go before Carr

If you are going by the numbers, it’s;

Brees
Manning
Brooks
Bobby
Jim “don’t call me Chris” Everett

Brooks gets some love for bringing us our first playoff win. He gets some hate for how he acted after that and during the Katrina year.

His numbers are almost as good as Archie’s even though he only played 5 years compared to Archie’s 11 years. Although the game was more run oriented back in Archie’s day compared to more pass oriented in the early 2000s.

Easily top 3 all time Saints QB.

Probably but that is a sad commentary on the history of the Saints quarterback position.

I’m 30 years old so Brooks was the first QB I got to watch in black and gold and I was like 7-8 years old when I started watching. I just remember my dad yelling at the TV when he threw a pass backwards to throw a ball away (I think against San Diego) and it ended up being a fumble.

I still had my dad buy me his jersey though lol
