Oh yeah. His wife was head of one of the shell companies that handled these funds. Then, poof, it disappeared.

Isn't this like saying Shriners received $545M in donations in 2023 and none went "directly" to children? Because the donations went to a third party who administered it (Shriners)
Or we could do a less efficient charity like the Red Cross and it's $2B in donations.
Etc.
It seems they're playing fast and loose with the words to be dishonest, by focusing on "direct". How often does this ever happen with charity? Typically the money collected goes to an organization who administers the money, so that removes the "direct" connection to the recipients. Sometimes another layer of organization is used, which is where the honest criticism-focus should be, and not this bullshite.

So, can you confirm that’s what happened in this case ? Receipts would be preferred

Before spouting your mouth off with bill esp hypothetical why not give us some facts that you base your crap on.
Out of $800 million how much has been given to any victim in any form???
You are insufferable

Only problem here is no one has come forward to say they have received any funds from fire aid. Pratt has been asking for anyone with such proof to contact him and no one has, because no one recieved the money.

It’s like saying you are an internet valedictorian but others realize you are a fricking imbecile.

you are a liar my friend and you sure as he11 aren't a lawyer, shrinners administrative cost are 11% which is more than reasonable 85% of the money raised by the shrinners goes to patient care at the 18 separate children's hospitals they operate and the countless number of satellite clinics.
you've posted a half a million times on this website you've written "war and peace" 15 times over for free.
i realize that your persona on this site gives you a sense of purpose and accomplishment the way an actual job would, but it is not a job son. it's an act of self gratification for you much like masturbation.
you're a pathetic bag of schit and a waste of oxygen.
don't bother to reply because i don't care.

That's why I picked them first over the Red Cross. Also why I specifically said

But you completely missed how I already accounted for your attempt at a gotcha, with receipts.

A simple google search reveals that the money is being managed by the Annenberg Foundation.
You can find various press releases on the money being distributed, like this one
quote:
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass today announced that the City has secured private funding to replace the Pacific Palisades playground thanks to the generous donation of nearly $1 million from FireAid and $300,000 in-kind from GameTime to the Los Angeles Parks Foundation. Including an additional donation from Banc of California’s Wildfire Relief & Recovery Fund, the total support for the playground comes to more than $1.3 million.
Here is another release
quote:
Distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation, the funding will back efforts to address financial and housing stability, mental health and trauma services, support community information networks, and bolster educational support for displaced children. In addition, grants were awarded to accelerate environmental remediation, soil testing, construction permitting, and sustainable rebuilding efforts.
The latest awards included $16.9 million for recovery efforts and $5.9 million for aid to victims and communities, as well as $1 million to the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation to purchase firefighting vehicles for the communities of Altadena and Pacific Palisades in advance of the upcoming fire season. This second round of grants boosts the initiative’s awards to $75 million since raising approximately $100 million through a benefit concert earlier this year.
“As the wildfires have displaced families and disrupted lives across Los Angeles County, the support received from FireAid [has] allowed us to continue providing critical food assistance to our neighbors, at a time when it is needed most,” said Los Angeles Regional Food Bank president Michael Flood.
