Same with Texas. Not sure if we jump them. They lost to #3 in an away game, teams don’t get pummeled for that. They fall from #1 to probably #5.

Do the Tigers jump 1-0 Oregon currently ranked 2 spots ahead of LSU?

Bama lost/looked bad against an unranked FSU. They should be no higher than 25, until they prove it in the field.

I'm ready for Bama to still be ranked ahead of Florida St when the new rankings come out.

Preseason rankings should be eliminated. Texas and Bama will linger in relevance based SOLELY on an unearned preseason ranking.

In theory, the top 10 should be fluid week 1. If you beat a highly ranked team week 1, it should jump you more than most weeks.

Conversely, if you lose to an unranked team, like Bama did, the drop may not be as bad because it is possible FSU is actually good.

It’s the issue with preseason rankings. They basically help out the teams that are overrated to begin with the get advantages.

Just beat #4 on road, we should be #2 or 3

Yeah looking at the rankings I would think we’ll be 5 if ND wins, maybe even 6th if they keep UT above us after a close loss on the road to the team that will be ranked #1 this week.

There is a chance we jump Penn State or Georgia I guess but there is built it respect for those teams I doubt voters will ignore.
