Tradition fund started at $80 in South Endzone... now it is $175... I moved to the South Endzone when they couldn't give them away in 1999 and now I need to start pimping to keep them! But I wont trade them for anything...

I sit in 210, and my tradition fund is also $175.

Remember these fees were proposed BEFORE the economy went to shite. This was a bad idea by the man that is collecting the second HIGHEST check from the state of Louisiana for a job he no longer has. I think there will be a renewal hit because of this. Just hope I can get tickets as a result

So I just get my renewal for TAF online. They went from 150 a seat to 185 a seat. I was told next year there is a huge jump to 255 a seat so it will cost 510 just to be able to renew my season tickets and I am in the upper west on bench backed seats. Not like I am in the sweet section. She said she did not know if there was a ticket per game increase as well yet. Man, next year is going to be hard to swallow.

My email invoice shows sideline seats went from $650 to $800, my invoice total is $3200, just how much was 7 & 5 really worth?? On the affluent or Wall Street CEO's with bonuses can afford to go to LSU games.

Do you mean tradition fund renewal? Don't believe TAF owns any west upper seats.

Another 8-5 year and the natives will start to get restless with the increases...I dont mind paying them but I want a winning product on the field. I understand a bad year here and there but hopefully fixed this year.

Does anyone know if there were increases in the tradition fund for the 2009 tickets?

Yes. A couple of years ago, LSU instituted a three-step increase in the required donation to the Tradition Fund that will end up doubling it over three years. Mine went from $105 for 2007 to $140 for 2008 to $175 for 2009 and will go to $210 for 2010.
