Anyone else hate ESPNs score ribbon?

Never heard of anyone being annoyed by having the actual score on the screen

I was just going to post the same thing on Twitter...

plus it has some random message in yellow that makes you think there is a penalty.

It annoys me. It makes the screen way too cluttered. Give me a clean screen with a basic small score graphic.

I'm watching my big arse TV. Not my phone.

I like the score ribbon. I gamble on games.

And get rid of all the annoying and unnecessary graphics on the field. CW has some giant blue line that stretches across the field for nothing. Every kicker has a FG range of 50+ yards. No need to put some useless clutter on the screen that no one wants. It looks stupid as hell when it flickers on and off.

I don’t really have a problem with it. If I’m being honest, other than glancing at scores from time to time I really don’t notice it. But I really wish they’d stop flashing or putting anything yellow at the bottom of the screen. A lot of times I think there’s a penalty only to realize they’re advertising for something or there was a touchdown for a game I don’t give a shite about

I have always hated the scrolling scores at the bottom of the screen because, as a fan of teams in multiple sports, I can't watch them all at the same time, so I try to watch some things live, and others on replay later, without looking up any scores to ruin it for myself.

But then comes the scrolling scoreboard flashing the score in front of my face that I didn't ask for, and didn't want to know. We are all perfectly capable of looking up scores we care about without having them shoved in our faces.
