1. Protect QB.
2. Positive plays on 1st and 2nd down.
3. Balanced on offense. Gotta be able to run the fb.
4. STs play has to be sound. Can win/lose game.
5. Manageable 3rd downs.
6. Convert on 3rd down.
7. Win TO battle. Nuss has to take the negative play.
8. Limit big plays on defense.
9. Get off field on 3rd down.
10. In game coaching- Have to make adjustments.

* Can we handle success tonight?
* Can we handle adversity tonight?

Can the o line give Nuss time and establish even a decent run game? Clemson’s weakness is their secondary - give Nuss time and he should be able to push it downfield.

We are good at every position and unknown at O-line. If they protect Nuss I think we can handle them easy.

If O-line struggles we will be in a bind

This is the correct answer, and I would add that it needs to happen quickly. We need to keep Clemson’s offense off the field for the first half until Haulsy can be put on the field.

Running the football and taking care of the football, just take the sack or throw the ball away can’t have any dumb turnovers

Yep

And with the strength of Clemson’s DL, it’s going to be tough to do but if we can do it, we keep their offense off the field, give Nussmeier great ability to open up the passing game to drive the dagger

I’d like to start off with Hilton taking the top off and them playing safeties back for the rest of the night.
