I remember all the love for this guy, didn't get it then, sure don't get it now. He's only gotten worse at Baylor, and now he's turned into a cheap highschool coach. He is supposed to be a defensive coach, but goes for it on 4th down...ALL THE TIME. Has left at least 9 points on the board (so far), and his defense has given up 250 rush yards in the middle of the 3rd.

I'll take BK everyday and twice on Saturday nights.

Thank yew.

Shut your mouth when your talking about Dave Aranda.

He had some d's that were the truth. No need to bash Dave to Blow Brian Kelly.

So you think our defense under BK has been better than it was under Aranda?

Not being an arse. I’m genuinely curious.

Well, I’d say he’s coaching his arse off in this game right now. Auburn has the physical advantage and they keep fighting back

Aranda was a mid defensive coordinator. If the offense in 2019 wasn't all-world, his defense could have scuttled the season.

I'm not saying that at all. I love him as a defensive coordinator when someone with some sense can say "we gotta punt and play field position". Or kick a field goal from inside the 10 in the 1st quarter. Coach O left BK in horrible shape. But as a head coach, it's BK and not close. I mean hell...BK beat him head to head last year. If Baker gets a head coaching gig in the next few years, bring Dave back. But he's not in BK's league as a head coach.

I would've taken him as a defensive coordinator prior to baker.

I don’t think Baylor is a particularly good job. He definitely doesn’t have the talent he had at LSU.

But, if we had Aranda in ‘23 instead of House, we win the Championship with Daniels

Coaches get too much credit and too much blame. The team with the best athletes almost always wins. Tonight, its obviously that Auburn has the better players.

Aranda is one of those that is a great defensive coordinator, but a complete abomination and dog shite as a head coach

It'd be nice, if just once in a while, you'd pull your head out of your arse.

LSU had the 21st Rushing Defense.
LSU had the 31st Total Defense.
LSU Had the 31st Scoring Defense.

And that's with the 54th Time of Possession and a slew of injuries to start the season.

Oh, and after Aranda left:

LSU had the 67th Rushing Defense.
LSU had the 124th Total Defense. [Only three teams were worse!]
LSU Had the 97th Scoring Defense.

Wait. What?? They played "damn good"?? Defense is his specialty and they gave up like 800 yards rushing. Lay off the drugs my guy.

Aranda is a good coach. Comparing Baylor to any SEC Team besides Vandy would be unfair.

No way he was ready to coach LSU.
