How are we just becoming aware of this just two days before the game????
Seems like the SEC/BK might be caught off guard.

From what Hunt said, it seems like the team just learned about the possibility.
There is speculation that he was suspended for fighting. Which would carry a 1st half carry over. The officials kicked him for unsportsmanlike Conduct. That does not carry to the next game.
Supposedly, the NCAA is reviewing.
LouisianaSports.net article on Haulcy by Hunt Palmer - Video of incident included.
Of course Clemson reported it. Such pu$$ies
I did google if the NCAA can change an official's ruling like this. AI overview said they cannot change the ruling. I don't think they would anyway.

Honestly, the NCAA needs to step the frick back from this and clear him quickly.
With today’s NIL world, Haulcy could potentially sue for loss of income or whatever which the NCAA would likely lose.

We’re being flamed by the fat Clemson guy… it’s not real

Would you feel the same if it was a Clemson player?

The guy was ejected for fighting in his team’s last game. Why would he not have to sit out for the 1st half of the next game? That’s been the rule for a long time. Did LSU really not know about this?

IF the ncaa retroactively changes a big 12 officials ruling to institute a suspension 9 months after the fact? Yes. I don't care who the team is, that would be an overreach.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Looks like we were trying to keep it under wraps, but the orange brigade had other ideas.

Fair is fair. If they guy was suspended for fighting and convicted he needs to sit.
Apparently Kelly thinks he is above the law. I am glad a fan with integrity pointed it out. I only wish I had discoved this sooner aoni could have notified the authorities myself.

Play by play for the game and officials ejected him for unsportsmanlike, you see anything from the NCAA in the intervening months entailing it was upgraded to fighting
anywho, I didn't pick LSU to win this game before all this anyhow, just be competitive and make it an elite opening game
We should be ok with Cooley, Gilbert, Spears, Toviano and our 25 top safety class should the worst occur and Haulcy can't play half 1

But since it was not fighting, it was up to the conferences to review and determine if there should be additional penalties not the NCAA.

and give credibility to every Tiger fan conspiracy theory that the NCAA is out to get and hurt LSU

LMFAO Clemson reported the issue to the NCAA hahaha. What a weak move. The NCAA will not have an answer by gametime so if we elect to play him that would mean the game could be forfeit.
What a weak move lmfao but no worries. If we need to sit him for a half then we can put Toviano or Spears into the lineup for a half but this should motivate the absolute shite out of this roster because Clemson reported the issue to the NCAA lmfao.
SEC was unaware of any pending suspension...complete BS.

I am more worried about them having no clue about the potential issue. I agree and think LSU is deep enough at safety to handle a half without him. 100% weak move by clemson if it is true that it was reported by them. If anything why say something at all before the game? If i were them i would hold that in my cap until after the game.

Convicted? This isn't a court of law lmfao. He was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct. Nowhere was it mentioned that it was fighting.
Now a Clemson fan/writer found the video when doing "research" and then gave it Clemson officials and staff to review and then Clemson's staff reported the issue to the NCAA who then notified the SEC and LSU.
That doesn't make it true. If he was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct you cannot change it 9 months after the fact just to punish the kid. Rules are rules but the if we are going by letter of the rulebook then he did not break that rule based on his ejection being ruled unsportmanlike conduct.
