I'm surprised there are so few players with multiple claims overall, but it really shows both the lack of quality in the waiver market, and teams' preference for guys that have been learning their system all summer over others who they feel would be marginal upgrades at best.

I’m assuming that’s the Jordan Jefferson transfer dlineman that was at LSU a couple years ago.

It is. The QB Jordan Jefferson never even made an active roster, coming and going with the Bucs in 2012 before playing in other leagues.

I never said the Saints should stop looking for better players.
I simply note they attempted to augment the CB position.
