My lovely wife left in an ambulance for the last time and never got a chance to come back home…I knew things were getting a little worse as the days passed, but when she left that day, I just had that feeling that would be the last time together in our house… damn this shite has been hard…just remember to give a extra special hug to your SO and let them know how much they mean to you. I didn’t get that chance after that day… sorry to ramble on but just needed to vent a bit…

Not everyone has that close of a relationship with their SO, so cherish those times together and know you had a good one.

Damn. I’m so sorry. I’d be completely lost without my wife. I wouldn’t know what to do without her.

I don’t want to bring up bad memories, but I know she was a heckuva cook. I hope you are eating okay.

Prayers and keep strong.

Hang in there brother. You can never fill that void. Just know that you'll see her again on the other side.

It’s just so painful. Don’t know you at all but heart hurts for you. Take solace:

“Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.”

Prayers and God's Grace to you my brother. I dread the day if it so happens that my SO of almost 50 years is not here with me.

It doesn't seem like it has been that long, I am sure in some ways it feels like yesterday to you.

No real words, just uplifting thoughts for someone who helps make TD better.

The first year is the hardest as those "first time" milestones are more frequent. I don't know that such a pain ever goes completely away, but time will eventually help lessen it. You can do this.
