The crowd will be at its peak. Their players will be geeked and playing on lots of adrenaline. But as always, this will pass. We need to just grind, move the chains, and keep it close. Our superior athletes will assert themselves. If the score is within 10 either way after the first quarter, we win.

I think I'm most afraid of dumbass screwups in this game more than I'm afraid of Clemson.

I want to see the defense have swag like whn Mathieu was on the defense. I miss those days of our defense intimidating the opposition.

You have to take games like this one series by series. Just get off the field on their first series and the crowd quiets immediately.

this is when we need the ground game to help us out. Nothing like a methodical drive at the beginning of the game to drown out the crowd.

Need to limit penalties also especially offensive. Could be a serious problem especially with the amount of subbing that will be done on the offensive line

So, you foresee no problems if we're down 10 after the first quarter? Can't make this kind of stupid up.

Ding ding ding! This right here!

Too many years of that now defensively for LSU to not mainly worry about.

You are correct. However, I wondered a little bit if you meant there might be some weather problems in the first quarter or sometime that would delay the game.

But yes, the Tigers need to get by the first quarter and they should have a decent chance of winning.

Don’t muff a punt and Nuss scrambles for a few crucial first downs and we may be cooking.

This team is familiar with away games. This isn't going to be any different. Where I am the most confident is special teams. I think special teams is going to be a big thing for us. I like our special teams units. I think the return game is going to have a few big plays which will give us good field position and I like our Kickoff team not allowing any returns with nothing but touchbacks and our transfer punter has a strong arse leg. Special teams is going to be big to start the game with two talented offenses and defenses.
