frick Sean Payton. He threw us away. He doesn't have a legacy here as far as I'm concerned.

I associate Drew Brees and all of the other stars with that era more than him, now

What a shitty take. Almost every actual fan offered to sacrifice anything for a Super Bowl win.

We get it and as time fades, those same fans become ungrateful bitches.

Good coach, but he was without Brees his last season and needed a “break”. That was Brees’s team as far as I’m concerned.

It was both Drew and Sean’s team. They both worked their asses off 24/7. I don’t blame him from leaving though. He saw a 3-4 year rebuild was coming.

I'm sorry, are the Broncos really a proven "rebuild" right now? And what year is he in?

Two things can be true. You can appreciate the Super Bowl and acknowledge that Payton did a crappy job setting the team up for the future and cut and ran when he saw his star was retiring.

I appreciate what Payton did for the Saints, but he is dead to me now. Well, mostly dead

Payton coached literally one single season without Brees and the pressure of that was too much, so he quit.

Let’s be real him and his wife just didn’t want to be in New Orleans anymore. Simple as that

He made alot of bad personnel decisions at the end and never had a plan for QB post Bree’s because he knew he would be gone

THIS. He is also responsible for a lot of the position we are in as well and then bailed on us. Wasting picks on Davenport, Payton Turner, to a lesser extent Ian Book etc. I’m still convinced if Jameis doesn’t get hurt in 2021 things may have turned out differently. That team would have waltzed into the playoffs with ease the way they that things were going.

He is slowly, building a nice Roster in Denver.
I hope he gets another one and cements his legacy as one of the greats.

Getting out foxxed by the walrus, Andy Reid for Mahomes really threw a wrench in his game plan.

A bit disingenuous. RG has had a finger on the scale.
