Article One, Section 4 Clause 1 of the Constitution as further strengthened by the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution
If y'all were to federalize elections like you fake conservatives were calling for as recently as last year if not earlier this year this entire redistricting process in Texas would be moot
and you dare call me a liberal
pshaw

Who is y'all?
Why even entertain this? Would take a constitutional amendment. That's not happening.

bedpan and others were suggesting Trump would do this
I agree with you and I defended the Constitution and the states' control of elections as a constitutional necessity, which as you may be aware gives the power to the states that they need to help hold the federal government accountable but I was accused of being a liberal by suggesting that we respect the Constitution

And apparently, run on sentences.

You're talking about judicial overreach in enforcing racial gerrymandering to public office
As an authentic conservative, I reject any such practice by activist judges

All of that genteel pussy-footing around in Congress needs to be stricken, whole cloth.

I don’t think I know anyone who has said they want to federalize elections.
When you have to build a straw man ti argue against you probably aren’t very smart.

Nobody wants to federalize elections, but the federal government has the right to set standards that states must meet in order to for the states votes to be considered valid in federal elections.
However the states choose to run thier elections in order to meet those standards is up to the state.

I think you made it up in your head.
I can't say there weren't ANY. But, there certainly weren't many.
It's very common for low IQ people to accept an extreme position from someone and apply to the entire group they disagree with because it's an easy argument to win.
Or, you are taking a lot of liberty with the term "Federalize Elections".
Feel free to point to the posts you are referring to though.
