It's obvious that they have changed vendors the last couple years, also. They were a solid place to stop and get a decent meal while traveling. The last couple years the quality has plummeted.

When people repeatedly say, "know your audience", this is an example of that. Their client base is likely 90% conservative, older people, and you just made them angry.

Maybe, maybe not.
It depends upon whether or not their clientele finds out that they would rather cater to chics with dicks than old people wishing to spend money there.

It's executive hubris. Their top folks are dead set on a new look and new experience and want to court new consumers. The old folks have abandoned them post COVID. Their quality was in the tank the last time I went there and it was not busy.
I don't think this new progressive angle is going to work for them nor the new look. I think we'll see them close stores in a lot of places and open some in more urban areas. Still won't save them.

I saw some photos in passing that looks like they're taking away all the Cracker Barrell kitschiness and basically going farmhouse chic inside too

They have raised their prices dramatically as well. It is amazing how many stupid people exist in corporate positions
