At what age would you bring a child to a saints game?

If not at the dome, what are kid friendly breweries or restaurants to watch the game at with a child?

Brought my 5 yr old to his first game in the Dome against the Rams last yr and he was in awe and at the edge of his seat on every play. There’s some colorful language here and there but everyone around us in the Plaza level were respectful of my little guy.

My first game was Tulane Stadium when I was 7. Today, not so sure I'd even take my wife.
What City leadership has allowed New Orleans to become is also what Saints games have become. Survival of the fittest. No thanks. TV is fine.

I would NEVER put any child through that torture.

I’d say 5 yrs old is when you can maneuver around without much interference.
Brewery? Just watch it at home.

Soft arse fan.
Are you willing to let him be a fan of another team? If not. Man up and suffer like a good fanatic should.

Last game I went to in person was 2 years ago. I didn't have my kids with me but I remember thinking I could bring my 7 year old with me next time no problem. Kids need to experience the world.

I mean, you're already bringing them to New Orleans so they're likely to see a hobo shitting in the street.
What harm would come from bringing them to the Dome?

Probably between 40-42, that’s around the age my oldest probably would have been able to sit through at least 1/2 of the game before wanting to roam around and see the stadium.
In all seriousness, it really depends on the kid, their ability to sit for the game, and how much you’re willing to put out for tickets. If you’re in the 600s or have end zone seats, I’d imagine they’ll get bored because they may not be able to see most of the game. If they can’t sit through a movie at the theater, no chance they’ll sit through a game.

It’s what preseason games are for. They don’t know the difference, tix are dirt cheap, and it’s so much quieter.
Plus a lot less cursing b/c no one cares.

My daughter has been coming to noon/3pm games since she was 4 months old. Grandmas live 2 hours away from us and we are an hour from NOLA. First two seasons she spent the majority of the game connected to my wife in one of those baby slings with headphones on. Had to get her her own seat this year. First two years were a breeze, we shall see how this year goes.

I think 5 is a good age. I took my son at 4 and it was a disaster. We left before the end of the first quarter. He was freaking out about the loud music and noise.
Funny thing was he has gone to LSU games ever since he was born, so I was surprised at how he freaked out like he did.
I was 6 when i went to my first game. I remember it vividly.

With this year's team, I would bring my kids to the game so they could do their homework in quiet.
