None of those guys playing 6 weeks in a row during major season.

Good thing we have LIV Nola actually bringing some big name golfers

I hope they enjoyed the two years they got of Rory because no way he's coming back with that schedule. The RBC the week after the Masters is such a stupid idea.

They need to move the PGA back to August. There isn’t much room between the Masters and the U.S Open for all of their elevated events with the PGA being crammed in there.

The only good news about that schedule is it means we get to see some young guys who are trying to move their way up.

The schedule is so condensed though, they need to move the open back and loosen some of the events up.

That isn’t going to happen. PGA needs to move back to August to give some room between the Masters and US Open.

What is the incentive to do that?

So the major season isn't over in the middle of the summer. Also moving the PGA to August opens up a lot more courses for availability. Especially up north.

It’ll be worse field than last year and that was Korn Ferry like. Pitiful. At least we get a LIV Event to see some stars.

The PGA of America built their headquarters and championship course that will host quite a few events in Frisco, TX. They are scheduled to have the PGA Championship there in 27 and 34. Moving the PGA Championship to August would make that entire development irrelevant.

Kiawah is the best PGA location. Between heat and hurricanes August is tough for that

People say this all the time like it wasn’t pretty dumb to have a 2 month break in majors after the Masters

The PGA championship was moved to May so the PGA playoffs could be in August and end before the NFL season starts. It's all about TV ratings.

I like the current format of a big event each month for 5 months.

March The Players Championship.
April The Masters
May The PGA Championship
June The US Open
July The British Open

If the PGA tour somehow made an engaging playoffs system (matchplay), it could really be like this:

Late Jan - Feb - Really huge events that get viewers longing for spring weather
Everything you listed
August - Matchplay PGA playoffs
September - Country team golf.

The Heritage on HHI has been the post-Masters tournament for as long as I can remember. It's the perfect next stop - drivable from Augusta, extremely family-friendly, great golf course, relaxed vibe after the pressure cooker of the first major of the season.

The pros LOVE going to HHI and quite a few of the Masters champions go despite the fact that it's such a quick turnaround after a life-changing victory.

The Zurich is a gimmicky poverty event on borrowed time in NOLA. If not for the restaurants and offshore fishing in the region PGA tour golf wouldn’t exist here.

The purse is great, Zurich is a great sponsor…but they had to make the event a four ball to attract tour players looking for a less stressful week on the grind. We are hopelessly out classed compared to Bay Hill, Innisbrook, Harbor Town, Sawgrass and the other great spring PGA venues.

I was encouraged by LIV coming, but that will flop too at City Park. Expect more gimmicks there like a Jazz Fest setting live concert in the park on the course during the event.

Zurich signed an extension so that is good. Unless it is a major event only the diehard golf fans care so have to come up with some gimmick to get fans interested

At this point just dump the two-man team concept. You're only going to get PGA tour grinders and struggling golfers needing points anyway. Just make it a proper tournament.
