Belief in God Triples Among 18-24 Year Old Britons

Christianity is experiencing a revival among young people in Britain, with the number of 18-24 year olds believing in God increasing by nearly 200 per cent since 2021.
After decades of Christianity declining in Britain — falling to such an extent that the 2021 census found that Christians had become a minority in England and Wales amid the rise of atheism and Islam — there appears to be an indication of a trend reversal and possible revival of the faith in the United Kingdom.
A smaller, but still significant, increase was also registered among those aged between 25 and 49 years old, with the tracker recording a jump from 21 per cent in 2021 to 33 per cent in 2025.
This has coincided with a 56 per cent rise in those who attend church at least once a month between 2018 and 2024, with the number of regular churchgoers increasing from 3.7 million to 5.8 million
Well, maybe they can get their nation back.

Gonna be awesome to watch the holy war in London. My guess is the Muslims win. The English are massive pussies.

Seems as if these young people are starting to realize that unfettered hedonism delivers none of what it promises and they have an eternity sized hole in them that the temporary can't fill.

I asked a fellow church member in Sunday School, "Have you benefitted from asking Jesus into your heart many years ago?" This was in regard to the parable in Mathew of 'Dayworkers in the Vineyard'. You'll recall, this is the analogy of accepting Christ early or late in life.
I asked because we were reminded of a mutual friend. The friend had to bury his son recently, a young man in his 20's.
The young man had grown up in the church but had fallen into deep depression.
There is no way I can see how a family deals with issues of this magnitude (and stays balanced) without hope, grace, love and healing from our Savior.
The blessing of being saved, will alter your outlook - both in daily tasks and in tough, challenging and catastrophic times.

Glad to see more people going to church, but would like to see more conservative, reformed churches springing up over there to give people some non-woke options.

Muslims are outnumbered 6-to-1 in London. That sounds like an uphill battle.

I can't even imagine the grief. I posted last week about putting our dog down and that's been absolutely brutal, I can't fathom losing a daughter or a son. I pray that the young man, even with his afflictions, trusted Christ with his future and took him at his word. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins if we only will trust him to do so.

Everyone searches for meaning; there is no meaning in the consumer world outside of your physical presence.
People need something deeper than Nihilism.
Nihilists are vapid human beings.

If you are ever at your death bed with your life flashing before you, praying to Jesus for forgiveness for all of your life sins ...
Better late than never. Some never even try to live the Life of Jesus, "Love, Joy and Peace"

It was not part of their blood, It came to them very late, With long arrears to make good, When the Saxon began to hate.
They were not easily moved, They were icy -- willing to wait Till every count should be proved, Ere the Saxon began to hate.
Their voices were even and low. Their eyes were level and straight. There was neither sign nor show When the Saxon began to hate.
It was not preached to the crowd. It was not taught by the state. No man spoke it aloud When the Saxon began to hate.
It was not suddently bred. It will not swiftly abate. Through the chilled years ahead, When Time shall count from the date That the Saxon began to hate.

It didn’t really triple; it’s just that kids felt pressure to not admit it before. Now that pressure has been broken somehow. Either way, it’s good news.

The grief is real and debilitating. My wife and I experienced the loss of her two daughters at age 26 and at age 39. Both of my stepdaughters died at different times for different reasons. We raised the younger one's three small girls. All I can say is that without our faith in Jesus, I don't know how my wife would have made it. And to turn around and raise three young little girls who all favor their mom, was really hard. The youngest was in first grade when we got them and just graduated in May. She's the kindest, sweetest, most selfless and toughest woman I know. I am blessed to have her as my wife, no pics we're older!

I think this is happening here as well, we are seeing a lot of folks in this age group rejecting the shallowness of the party lifestyle for genuine community. We host Bible studies and worship nights at our place, and I am amazed at how many in this age group are showing up and hungry to learn.
We went to the Upperoom end of year conference last year in Dallas and on New Years Eve you had 15,000 people, a lot who were 18-24 year old's celebrating the Lord to ring in the New Year.

It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.
I’ve been warning a European friend about the Islamization of the continent. He said “Europe will always be Europe”. It’s that type of complacent attitude that will allow a small minority to dominate them

Dumbass white women keep "amplifying minority voices" so it dont matter if they are the minority. White women will give away the keys to the kingdom..

The article claims it's a Christian revival, but I bet the increase in believers is due to young Muslims flooding the country

Probably because they realized they are being governed, like us, by a bunch of closeted satanists and figure if there’s a devil there must be a God.

God bless man, that's awful to hear. Some folks will call believers weak and say they can't handle the reality of mortality in the physical world around us as if it's a bad thing or a character flaw. Death is a curse and absolutely sucks. It's heart breaking and grief is an incredibly brutal season for everyone.
I've unfortunately been around more death than I'd like to think about and it always struck me how seemingly palpable the spark of life is when it leaves a living creature. It's as if you can see the breathe of life leaving a physical body and your soul recognizes that the corpse in front of you truly was just the housing of the life you once knew. It's one of the things that developed me deeper into my faith as I got older. When I saw death, the soul was no longer a theoretical idea, but it became tangible.
