Kinda seems like Ohio State is trying to become the new Bama under Saban when he’d come into Louisiana and raid most of LSUs best in state recruits every year. We don’t need OSU coming in here and doing the same thing.

This is ridiculous hyperbole. While Saban signed his share of good LA players, he certainly didn’t “raid most” of them. Not even close

And there is NOTHING anybody can do to BK with that obscene contract for at least 3 more years. So enjoy a winning team that may be on the border of making the playoffs, at least this year anyway.

Saw him play versus Zachary last season. Was a man amongst boys. Very tough to bring down. They had 4th and 19, ran him around the edge and he go it. He was a stud that night

Give me what year he raided most of LSU's best in-state recruits. Name any year he had more top 10 Louisiana recruits than LSU.

Certainly not most but more than his share. Within a week of taking the Alabama job he flipped LSU commit Luther Davis and after that first season, LSU never outranked him in recruiting. He went on to take about two dozen players ranked among the ten best in the state. The problem with that is LSU did almost nothing in recruiting leading Alabama players to balance the scales. In fact, since Saban arrived there, LSU has landed just one top-ten Alabama player -- Kwon Alexander, who was ranked sixth in the state in 2012.

Then how many of those recruits actually panned out... I can only think of a few Cam Robinson, Landon Collins, Devonta Smith and a few others but it seemed like most that didnt come to LSU were bust.

The only ones that Saban beat LSU out on that panned out were Devonta Smith, Cam Robinson, Tim Williams, and Landon Collins.

Christian Harris didn't have an LSU offer, Irv Smith didn't really have a committable offer, and Eddie Lacy wasn't going to be eligible.

When, exactly, did that happen?

Which years, and which top 10 players?

From what I've been told they are throwing around money that no one matches if its about the money! Offered 800k plus to my buddies son Maddox out of Oak grove. He went the way of his brother to Ole piss bc the dad and Golding are really good friends and roomed together at Delta State. For comparison Tejas A and M and Ole Miss offered 650k.

Well whoever told you that clearly has no idea how much OSU is struggling with NIL offers this year. Bjork is in charge of the committee who was supposed to fix this entire NIL disaster so he has been extremely conservative.

OSU has been rumored to be offering 25% of what other schools are and they have lost a ton of good recruits because of it just this year.

Luke Wafle
Tyler Atkinson
Carter Meadows
Danny Odom

Are all kids OSU had potentially led for then NIL offers went out and OSU was WAY behind.

They are about to potentially lose Brian Womack to UF or Auburn this week too and OSU has led for him for literally a year

Nothing really to indicate he isn't firm. He also hasn't come out and done the kiss of death I'm 1000% committed yet.

I'm sure there will be a lot of pressure from the home school to stay home, and I never blame a kid for doing that in the end. OSU is in need of another safety in this class as the 2nd safety, Caldwell, is 99% going to outgrow the position. He's 6'3'' like 200 already and I think OSU wants him to be a LBer
