Largely irrelevant in this specific instance. Without certain specific reasons (Insurrection Act, Congressional approval, protection of federal properties &/or emergency declaration), the President can't deploy the DC guard for arresting civilians in a normal way. They can, however, arrest them as part of their duties in guarding federal properties and they can hold them while waiting on the local PD to arrest them.
