Boat Hull cleaner needed, please help

Starbrite bottom cleaner


Do you seal or treat the surface after you clean it to prevent future staining? If you don’t then it’s going to stain again immediately.

I tried this and it is not very good at all but thanks.

Anything Starbrite will clean the hell out of a boat. Seats, hull, deck...

Any particular reason you want to find something else?

I use MaryKate On/Off gel with a cheap throwaway painbrush or old ray with gloves. Its badass and designed to what you want.

Like everyone said, you'll need to put some kind of wax or sealant over that area after. Though anything at or below the waterline wont last too long with being constantly blasted by water.

Yes it does. Cover or keep rinsing the drip line onto your trailer. Will eat galvanize.

They quit making The Works so I just bought some Starbright hull cleaner, will report back with the results,

This stuff works on removing waterline stains.

Starbrite makes two
A "hull cleaner" and a "bottom cleaner". The bottom cleaner is a lot stronger and works best for that brown rust looking stains. I'd wear gloves and goggles and wax after using it. Also gotta make sure and rinse your trailer and ant metal it touches with fresh water because it's acidic. I try to use the bottom cleaner and wax it when the brown stains start to show every 6 months or so.

I just used it on mine last week to remove the stains, 13yo boat that gets fished in Louisiana algae heavy water 2 days a week.

I used FSR on a thirty year old sailboat that had been in the water for half it's life. Couldn't get that waterline off with anything. Tried for years. Then I wiped on FSR and it was like an infomercial. Couldn't believe it simply disappeared.
