Late rounder who probably goes to the practice squad, although he may make the initial 53 over a vet so we save money on what's guaranteed (anyone on the initial 53 has their base guaranteed for the year). That's only if we see CEH bouncing on and off all year. If they think he will be on all year he will likely be on the initial 53.

Out the rest of the pre-season. I think you take your chances and try stash him on the practice squad.

Clyde is a legit NFL veteran whose career would have gone much differently if not for his PTSD from college shooting incident. Normally NO is a terrible place for a player with issues, but I think it's a perfect fit for CEH

Yeah, I don't think PTSD had much, if anything, to do with that. I think it was more of a matter of limited physical ability at the NFL level. He's not big, nor does he have game breaking speed. His best physical attribute is his lateral quickness. That can get mitigated at the NFL level where the level of athlete is much better overall than in college.

He was drafted by the team with one of the best offenses and QBs in the entire NFL, along with one of the best offensive coaches. If any team was going to find a way to fully utilize his skill -set it was KC. I think he's just a guy who was a solid college player who didn't have quite the physical ability to be a great NFL player. There is a LONG list of those guys. Regardless, he's been able to carve out a (to date) 5 year NFL career. That's not a bad deal.

I thought Akers was a lock but CEH has looked better than I thought. Hope he keeps it up and can carve himself a roll.

Nice!

I kinda want to see the move that got Tipton so wide open though.

It was a double move. You can see as he exits the screen he ducks to fake a cut or stop route. He blew past the defender once the defender bit on the fake.

Yeah, CB was overly aggressive and bit badly.

He should, but we’re talking about the Saints so he’ll probably be cut next week because he played for LSU.

Neal is an unproven commodity who is following the Kendra Miller pull a hammy first week of practice model.
Hope CEH makes the cut.
