I love reading those articles about how good someone is after the Rant Fantasy League Coaches bashed him on here regularly for 3 yrs.

Bashed the whole line. They were average but Burrow made them look good. Then they went to the league and four of them won starting jobs in the NFL during their rookie camps. Another, Deculus, made a team and ended up starting a few games due to injuries. And Adrian MaGee also made the league as a practice squad player, Cush and Damien Lewis became among the best in the NFL at their positions.

That was by far the greatest offensive line LSU has ever had and was easily the best line in college football that year.

wrong. 1997 and 2003 lines want a word with you. 1987 was great also.

List them and their professional accomplishments. Their college accomplishments did not include the award for best in the nation. And their professional accomplishments are far less than 2019’s.

Well 1997 included one of the greatest OG in football in the last 30 years. Dude wears a gold jacket. That in itself is hard to beat.

Pretty sure he was a 2 star recruit when he committed on one site, finished as a low rated 3 star across the board

That’s one man. 2023 included maybe the greatest player in LSU history, certainly top 3. And what did that get us?

Show me another LSU offensive line on which four players earned starting jobs in their rookie camps.

Yep. And the moronic star gazers on the recruiting board were pissed off that it dragged down LSU's overall ranking and that he was a "wasted scholarship".

I remember when people said Burrow made that O Line look better than sit was and they didn’t really deserve to win the Joe Moore award. That was a pretty good O Line.

That award didn't exist until 2015.

I’ll never forget when the Saints could have picked him in the 3rd but instead reached for the1st round bust out of Michigan.

A lot of insults, but you can’t answer the question because the answer proves my point - 2019 was hands down the best offensive line in LSU history and it was hands down the best in the nation that year. They got the award for being the best, and then went on to justify it with individual NFL success.

But I’m sure you can mine your fertile brain to come up with a few more insults.

Cush was a little shaky very early and The Rant(tm) never forgets, never forgets and never grows. Cush got better, almost snap-to-snap. Hardworking, solid player who grew into greatness, leading the OL of the greatest team to ever play college football (likely ever will play it, especially the offense).
