I’ve always picked Madden cos it’s better. I’m not getting both at the same time.

Haven't played this year's Madden yet but I usually think Madden gameplay is better. Last year was not the case though and I couldn't even pin point why. The Madden animations played out better but it just wasn't as fun as NCAA.

I've heard nothing but bad things about CFB 26.

I installed Madden yesterday but haven't played it yet.

If it's anything like Madden 88-25 or CFB 93-25, prepare to throw 7-9 INTs per game

It’s 100X times better than last year, still has its issues but the last update was great. I’m really enjoying it… let me be clear, I thought CFB 25 was one of, if not THE, worst games I’ve ever played and I’ve been playing since Atari 2600… it was awful. ‘26 huge upgrade and lots of fun…

I probably average 1 a game on all American and I'm not that good. That sounds like a user problem.

You are a lot better than you think then. Because I’ve seen/read of tons of people having the same issue with all the INTs. Because some are just plain unrealistic and no way I can ever catch some of the INTs that the computer does. I mean you can’t help when the ball is literally going into your WRs hands and then it sucks into the AI defenders hands like a vacuum for an INT.

The ones that you read complaining are rare and majority don't have that issue. I am on operation sports forums and people are complaining about different things but throwing too many interceptions isn't one of them.

I think both of these franchises on their current iterations are a far cry from what they were 15-20 and several generations ago.

Despite graphical inferiority they used to run so tight and were such fun games. Now they’re an animated mess to me and need competitors in the worst way.

Could you expand a little on this? I dont have 26 but I have 25. Just curious about the differences

Sure.
Lots of updates for stats and records… trophy room, etc and lots of things that were in NCAA 14 that should have been in “25. The gameplay is more fluid, you don’t throw a 100 INTs a game and the run game seems better. More realistic in terms of teams compared to each other, and RTG was updated as well. It’s not a perfect game by any stretch but it’s a much better than game than “25.

When I see that complaint all the time on different forums I wouldn’t consider that rare. Like I said, you literally can’t control some of the INTs if the computer says it wants to. There is no way some of those INTs on this game could happen in a real game.

There aren't many forums for the game unless you are talking about reddit. Operation sports is the main one and I go there daily but it's never talked about as an issue. When I throw an interception it is my fault 99% of the time because I made a bad read.
