He looks like he is training for an audition in a remake of Captain Phillips in the first picture

Captain Phillips wasn't a movie about lifting weights or basketball so please explain what you meant by that

He looks like a malnourished Somali pirate

I shouldn't have had to spell that out
.
He looks very frail in that pic, like he hasn't been able to lift weights for a very long time due to his shoulder injury

Trey might be the only person who has actively grown in our Strength Training Program

Not worried about any of Trey, Dejounte or Herb. They all already had a great work ethic and they all just love to ball at the end of the day. I think Trey and Herb play game 1 and Dejounte is back the first week of December.

I am sure you are referring to the Hargeisa Holocaust.

Some people never seem to find a new low and then quick to claim reverse racism. They are truly the scum of the earth ??

His right arm doesn't look ready to play high school basketball, let alone NBA basketball

Rooting for him, but the atrophy in his right arm is troubling

It's the angle of the photo. They have more photos on their Facebook page. He's actually looking a little bigger.

LINK

Here's the entire set from their Instagram page.

Btw: Murray said he's bulked up to 194 pounds now.

There was also a video I missed on Murray's Instagram showing some expanded footage of the things he's doing and the range of movements he's able to do right now and it's impressive.

Need some fricking positivity around here..for a change.

When I posted the last update and said that people here are still booking on a January return for Dejounte, the responses were still, basically, "Yeah. January." Just absurd.

People here are way too scared to hope. They've been hurt too many times.

The trauma that many here have endured is very similar to PTSD. For all of those on this board who are suffering, I just want you to know that there really is hope.

From "Instilling Hope in Trauma-Informed Care" LINK

quote:

It may be intimidating to imagine your future when you’ve endured trauma. You might assume that bad things will always happen to you. You may not expect to experience joy in your life, or hold the belief that you don’t deserve to be happy. Due to the deep harm from trauma, it might feel safer to expect pain and distress instead of hope. You may not set goals for yourself or believe that personal growth and healing are possible.

quote:

here are common ways to help rekindle hope in the aftermath of trauma.

- Practice self-compassion by being gentle with yourself. Try to have kinder internal dialogue as opposed to critical self-talk. Talk to yourself the way you would your best friend.
- Seek professional support. Therapy provides a structured space to process trauma and gain coping skills. This could be individual or group therapy.
- Build a support network of understanding friends and family. This helps foster a sense of connection and reinforces the belief in your ability to heal.
- Engage in activities that bring you a sense of joy, connection, or accomplishment.
- Practice mindfulness. Try deep breathing and other grounding exercises that help you remain present in the moment.
- Set realistic goals and celebrate small victories along the way. For example, going to bed early, attending therapy, eating a nutritious meal, or setting a healthy boundary can all be cause for celebration.

And some people like to revel in negativity.
